The Media Center labs are located in Hibbs Hall. Room 426 is our general purpose lab and is open to students Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm. If you have special needs, please contact the Director (827-2320). For more information, click here.

Language Learning Programs

The Media Center offers an array of foreign language self-study applications. Our most popular applications are Rosetta Stone v3, offered in 22 languages, and Mango Languages, offered in over 60.

Film & Media Collections

The World Studies Media Center uses and makes available to students and instructors the complete Adobe CS6 Creative Design Suite and Production Premium software bundles. For more information, click here.

Video Conferencing

Room 424 is equipped with a Cisco/Tandberg CS40 HD videoconferencing system for distance learning activities. Contact the WSMC for more details. For more information, click here.

The World Drive

The "World Drive" is a shared network drive available on all the computers in the World Studies Media Center (Hibbs 424 & 426). When you go to "My Computer" (Windows Explorer) on the Media Center computers, the "World Drive" appears as drive "W:" and provides several terabytes of file storage for use by World Studies students and instructors.
