Mobile iPad Lab

The mobile lab consists of 35 iPad Air 2s and accompanying headsets. Each iPad runs the latest iOS software and contains 32GB of storage, a 9.7 inch display with 2048x1236-pixel resolution, an A8X chip with 64-bit architecture, and an M8 motion coprocessor. Each iPad can last up to 10 hours of use, with the mobile lab also acting as a charging station. Available by reservation only. Reserve in advance (828-2320).

Hibbs 424

The classroom lab in Hibbs 424 is robustly equipped with 35 independent multimedia workstations and a teacher's control console. This room houses Dell Precision T3600 workstations with Quad Core processors, 16 GB of RAM, and full multimedia capabilities. Each station is equipped with a high quality headset for listening and recording audio. The instructor's console runs the Tandberg/Sanako Study 1200 electronic language lab. A Crestron presentation system, a media production station, and a network printer are also available for class projects and group activities. This classroom lab is ideal for collaborative learning, multimedia projects, and workshops. Reserve in advance (828-2320).

Hibbs 426

This general purpose lab is robustly equipped with 30 Dell Precision T3420 workstations with Intel Core processors, 4 GB of RAM, and full multimedia capabilities. This space is ideal for individual and small group study. One instructor machine is connected to the projection system. The WSMC front desk is located in this room. Pay-per-print service is available.
